Description

I walked to the wooden pier near sunset expecting to capture the usual cloudy evening skies colors change from orange to blue.I rarely mention details about a photograph, however this single image combined an exciting sunset mixed with rain approaching.
By itself the image was perfect but missing the excitement I felt from being there so using some techniques I learned from my years in the darkroom, dodging and burning I added to the drama my own layered elements and made artistic enhancements with the lightning, people and a little color to the Kite and Umbrella to make it pop.
