Your image gets printed directly onto a sheet of 1/16" thick aluminum. The aluminum sheet is offset from the wall by a 3/4" thick wooden frame which is attached to the back. Lovely story behind this. The mountain is a sloping, terraced hill about three stories tall and 100 feet long and crowned with a cross. The property is owned by the state. Much of the paint was donated by “snowbirds” arriving in the area for the winter warmth. Knight’s main message on his mountain was simple: “God Is Love.”
